In Memory of Andrea Hairelson

Andrea had a lifelong love of animals and a generous spirit that led her to give back wherever she could. In retirement, she volunteered her time at the Humane Society and other local animal shelters, helping care for animals in need. Throughout her life, she shared her home and heart with many furry companions, including her beautiful cat, Fuzzy, and her beloved dog, Vinnie. Vinnie was Andrea’s steadfast companion for many years after the loss of her husband, Earl, and held a very special place in her heart until his passing.

Andrea’s love and appreciation for animals also followed her around the world. Her adventures took her to incredible places, including the Galápagos Islands, numerous African safaris, and opportunities to swim with dolphins. Whether experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat, volunteering to help animals in need, or enjoying the unconditional companionship of her own pets, animals were a special source of joy throughout Andrea’s life. In her memory, we hope to carry that love forward by supporting the Humane Society and the animals it serves.
