I began volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay in February 2023 and it quickly became one of my favorite places to be. Nobody is more grateful for your simple presence than a shelter dog. I loved giving them love and attention to provide a little break from waiting for their forever home.
Before long, I also started fostering kittens. I swore I wouldn't keep them because of my allergies, but I finally fell in love with the 10th one in my care—my sweet Rowan—who was only with us for 7 months due to genetic neurological degeneration. This donation drive is dedicated to his memory ♥︎
This past March, I began working at HSTB, and it continues to be one of my favorite places to be. Every staff member is passionate about the animals and works hard through difficult situations to provide their best chance at a happy future.
In lieu of 40th birthday presents, I'm asking friends and family to support this wonderful organization I love! Every little bit helps! ♡♡♡
