The Humane Society of Tampa Bay and the Humane Society of Pinellas—two respected animal shelters, each with decades of service, deep community roots, and a shared commitment to compassion—are joining forces as one united “Humane Society of Tampa Bay.” This merger is a transformational opportunity that will allow us to:

- Merging our teams and resources allows us to expand medical care, increase adoptions, and respond more quickly to animals in crisis. A unified organization means more lives saved and brings us one step closer to ending animal homelessness.

- By expanding access to pet food support and affordable veterinary care, we can prevent unnecessary surrenders and help pets stay where they belong–with their families. Pets will stay in their homes and continue to enrich the lives of the people who love them.

- With a combined staff and volunteer network, we can grow our high-volume TNVR program, reduce community cat populations humanely, and bring more animal welfare education programs to children in classrooms and neighborhoods.
