Meet Ruby, a 3-year-old bloodhound who was suffering from debris in her ears, dental issues, discharge in her eyes, and a severe condition in which her eyelids rolled inward and caused her eyelashes to rub against her cornea when she was dropped off at the shelter. Due to the serious discomfort she was in, HSTB medical staff performed surgery to repair her eyelids and bring her relief.
Ruby received the necessary medical care and lots of TLC from HSTB staff to ensure a full and comfortable recovery. Once she had healed, she was quickly chosen by a loving family and accepted into their home, just in time for the holidays.
