Every year, hundreds of senior animals are surrendered or found as strays and brought to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. These elderly pets are often overlooked due to their age and medical conditions, and stay at the shelter longer than younger pets. With YOUR support, we are able to provide the medical care they need and find them loving homes where they can live out their golden years in peace and comfort.
One of the sweet seniors who found himself at HSTB was Mr. Gray. Mr. Gray is a 12-year-old cat who was surrendered with dental and skin issues, typical for his age. He was quiet and kept to himself, and needed a peaceful home. A wonderful couple immediately fell in love with Mr. Gray's amiable personality and adopted both him and his new 6-year-old Yorkie brother, Paris.
Crystal, a 9-year-old terrier, was surrendered to us because her owner had to move to an assisted living facility. This sweet girl suffered from arthritis, cataracts, dental issues, and benign masses on her skin. After a month of being at HSTB, Crystal finally found her forever family, who wanted a laid back dog with boundless love to share, and Crystal was the perfect fit!
Your gift today helps all of the sweet senior animals like Mr. Gray and Crystal, who are brought to the shelter needing extra medical care and a chance to live out their golden years with a loving family.
YOUR DONATION IS DOUBLED UP TO DECEMBER 31ST!
