Paws for Literacy Special Petco Love Event

We’re partnering with Petco Love for the nation's largest shelter pet reading event on April 22nd to invite young animal lovers (best for ages 4 – 8) to “Read & Share Your Love” by reading the new children’s book “What Will I Do With My Love Today?” by Tony and Emmy award winning actress and performer Kristin Chenoweth.
We will be reading this inspiring tale of kindness and pet adoption to pets in our shelter. We will have storytime at 3:00 and 4:00pm, and kids will be able to make treats to give to the animals, read to the animals, visit with some furry friends, and have a snack! The class will take place in the 2nd Floor Humane Education Room at the main shelter building, 3607 N. Armenia Avenue.
